The Wheatsheaf re-launched from January 2025.

The menu (see the pub's social media pages) looks fabulous and is strongly recommended.

The Wheatsheaf was previously temporarily closed since July 2024, now re-opened under a popular and experienced managment team - formerly from the Pickering Arms in Thelwall.

November 2024: "Some of you may remember Jim and I from the Pickering arms in Thelwall, we managed the Pick successfully for 7 years. We left the Pick three and a half years ago and we have decided to move back to familiar grounds.

We have been offered the tenancy for the wheatsheaf, and are looking forward to reopening the door and meeting you all in January 2025. We aim to bring fantastic home cooked food, well kept ales and great customer service. We do look forward to welcoming you all very soon"
