Lymm is a communited minded village of about 12,000 people in the Northwest of England. It is in the county of Cheshire between the large towns of Manchester and Liverpool.
It likes to call itself a village but it has a lot more shops and healthcare services than most villages. For instance there are 5 small supermarkets, two post offices, 4 primary and one secondary schools, two doctors practices and 4 dentists.

The public bus services from Lymm are every hour during the day time to Warrington and Altrincham but there are no train services.
Lymm is part of Warrington Borough Council which is the government body taking most of the day to day management of refugees’ services.
