Lymm Rocks is creating a unique rock display for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The painted rocks will be displayed in the Sunken Garden during the 2nd June ‘Light up Lymm’ event as well as at various other times and venues throughout the Platinum Jubilee festivities.
Come and join us in the village hall to paint your rock! You will get the opportunity to help create rocks for the display and to create a decorated rock to take home to keep or hide as part of Lymm Rocks.
Arrive anytime between 9.30am and 12noon. The event will end at 12.30pm. We advise you bring an apron or old t-shirt to wear to protect your clothes.
Following the displays, the rocks will be hidden across the village for all to find, and in turn the hiders to re-hide for others to find, brightening the days of those who find them.
This event is being run by Lymm Parish Council with the help of the Lymm Rocks Facebook Group.
