Held on 11/08/2024 starting at the lower dam (village centre) at 16:00 hrs. The procession will progress up to St. Mary’s church for a 16:30 service.

Back in the days when churches had cold earth floors, the annual renewal of rushes on the floor for cleanliness and warmth became an occasion for celebration. The Lymm Rushbearing procession has been revived in recent years, though the event was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19 and resumed from 2021.
