Lymm Parish Council have planned festivities in the village centre on Thursday 2nd June 2022, with Lymm Radio broadcasting from the events throughout the day.
The Town Crier will read a proclamation from HM The Queen at 2.00pm on The Cross on Thursday 2nd June.
Following this, Lymm Jubilee WI will be serving tea and cakes at the Village Hall on Pepper Street. All donations will go to the Platinum Jubilee Legacy Fund.
Event running order (by Lymm Radio) - lanterns will be put out at the lower dam from 17:00hrs, brought forward due to the numbers that have been made!:
Beacon Lighting - 8:30pm on Thursday 2nd June
The main event in the village centre is the beacon lighting and community sing song on Thursday 2nd June from 8.30pm. Full details will appear in the Souvenir Programme (being distributed to all Lymm Households at mid - May, and available shortly on the Lymm Parish Council website - see web link)

Shield Competition
As well as a best dressed competition on the night of the beacon lighting, we are inviting you to create a shield for Lymm. Design the best shield in your category and win a prize. Include symbolic animals, local landmarks or Lymm people – just make it unique! Download a blank template from the attachments below or collect one from local shops or the library. Please return your completed shields to the village hall (post box at the side of the kitchen) by 5pm on 27th May.
The winners will be announced at 9.15pm on 2nd June at the jubilee event. GOOD LUCK!
