The Lymm Duck race takes place at (on!) the Lower Dam, Lymm village centre on Easter Monday, organised & run by the fabulous Lymm Round Table.
Details and duck sponsorship are available via the website links to Lymm Round Table & Lymm Duck Race.
The race starts at 12:30 BUT IT’S RECOMMENDED TO BE IN THE VILLAGE FROM MIDDAY, 'tickets' or duck sponsorship (sponsor a numbered duck to win cash prizes) are on sale online or in the village centre on the morning of the race.
There will be entertainment / rides / food stalls in & around the village centre and on Henry Street car park (see Lymm Duck Race website for stall details).
Mix56 are likely to be broadcasting from the lower dam throughout the day.
Parking
The village centre is likely to be VERY BUSY. Parking will be limited & is likely to fill up quickly - please walk into the centre if possible, else park responsibly & don't assume that there will be spaces available in Davies Way / Pepper Street car parks.
Food & Stalls
Most (all?) of the village centre pubs and restaurants will be open, with plenty of options to grab a coffee, fish & chips, brunch or lunch after the main event (consider booking a table though...). The Spread (possible open fire in the snug?!), Cuppellos, The Coffee House & Zalo's are all great locations to grab a hot drink & warm up (if it's not blazing sunshine - & it looks not this year).
Food Festival
There will be fast food stalls (burgers and hot dogs) in the village centre with more stalls on Henry Street car park. Details should be available on the Lymm Duck Race website.
