Ye Olde No. 3 (Stonegate) (now open)

August 2023 - Ye Olde No. 3 is has re-opened as at Thursday 17/08/2023

There appears to be a tie in with www.gripadventure.co.uk running the National Trust land campsite / activities behind the No.3.

Previous updates:

 June 2023 - Ye Olde No.3 had significant building maintenance (scaffolding around much of the building / roof repairs) during March / April - suggesting some investment & possible re-opening for the summer. The garden has been tidied around mid-June 2023 & Stonegate are advertising for a Landlord

Ye Olde No.3 closed again late December 2022, due to long term issues with the landlord's residential accomodation allegely not fit for habitation. There remains a small chance that the issues will be resolved and the pub will re-open, given the value to the community of this asset & the huge amount of effort put in by the present management team.
