Update 21/04/2026 - TBH SP Energy have gone off-piste from their own plans. Sandy Lane should be closed (but isn't? ). The SP Energy website contradicts itself multiple times, the causeway One Network website also seems to be incorrect (there's a strong impression here that no-body knows what is going on... hold that thought...).
Planned work showed below as at 04/04/2026 & does not seem to have changed on the subsequent two updates to the SP Energy Website - clearly dates may change as the schedule progresses.

"We currently have two teams working simultaneously on the project in different areas of Lymm. The work is being completed in stages with the aim of keeping disruption to a minimum. We have an on-site manager who will be in the area for the duration of the project during scheduled hours."

SP Energy have been contacted multiple times about closing both Rushgreen Road and Oughtrington Crescent / Sandy Lane at the same time (leaving just the Mill Lane / Burford Lane junction as the only way to get from south Lymm to Rushgreen / Oughtrington / Heatley - responses have been underwhelming.
