The Green Dragon re-launched as "Ego at the Green Dragon" at the end of October 2021, resulting in a decent destination restaurant.

Ego is a chain of around 24 pubs: "serving freshly cooked food from across the Mediterranean including French, Spanish, Italian, Greek and Moroccan food. Enjoy everything from chargrilled steaks, hanging kebabs, fresh fish and seafood, pizza, pasta and paella".
