Fr Michael’s Funeral Details
Fr Michael’s funeral will take place on Friday 14th November at 12 noon at St Peter’s.
Parking will be severely limited, so anyone who is able is encouraged to walk to the church or car share where possible.
Those attending are advised to park further away and walk over the field path from Longbutt Lane. A small number of additional spaces have been made available, with thanks to Lymm High School, in the Sixth Form car park, accessed from the lower entrance near the church. Due to the lack of passing spaces on Oughtrington Lane, attendees are asked to avoid parking on the double yellow lines, even with a blue badge, if possible.
The funeral cortege will follow a route through Lymm Village, travelling down Eagle Brow and passing the Lower Dam and then the Cross at approximately 11:40am, for anyone wishing to pay their respects there.
The Mass will begin promptly at 12 noon at St Peter’s, followed by a private committal. Tea and coffee will be available after the service at the back of the church.
There is a polite request that no one walks behind or in front of the hearse, but instead pays their respects either in the church or at the Lower Dam / the Cross.
