"Celebrate with comic singer-songwriter Paul Thompson the release of his new album, Playing with Nadine. Accompanied on string bass by the album's producer Mark Wainwright, Paul will be performing songs from the 26-track collection, which mixes the comic and satirical with the occasionally poignant. Expect comic songs about Trump, relationships with technology, marriage, pessism and even the B word.
Paul will also be singing some of the eight long-lost Jake Thackray songs he recorded for the album, and he'll be playing them on Nadine, a guitar which Jake once owned and gave the name.
Please note that some songs contain adult-orientated humour.
The venue is the function room upstairs at The Spread Eagle in Lymm, and there is no disabled access.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Lymm Methodist Church's redevelopment project, which aims to modernise the church's buildings and make them accessible to all. The event is staged with the generous support of The Spread Eagle in Lymm"
