Book swaps

Lymm currently has two community book swap locations, both based in retired phone kiosks:

• Sandy lane book swap

On the corner of Sandy lane and Hopefield road (link opens map) This book swap has it's own Facebook page (link opens in Facebook) and a dedicated community sorting the books.

The original phone box / book swap suffered an arson attack in August 2019, but through community funding was replaced in February 2021 with the current classic red phone box.

• Church road book swap

on the corner of Church road & Elm Tree road (link opens map). The book swap has its own Facebook page.

• Oughtrington Lane book swap

Outside Holly Grange Montessori Nursery, above the High School. Located in a wooden store with sections for children's & adults. This book swap opened in July 2021, 

• High Legh children's book swaps

There are also book swaps:

• outside High Legh Primary School, on Wrenshot Lane (link opens map)

and

• outside High Legh Preschool, on Pheasant Walk (link opens map)

both are aimed at the respective age groups.
